Precision Turning Training
We formed the new batch of workers in the sector from the Department of Ensenyament, covering the need that companies have historically dragged.
Internationalisation
Active participation in the Syndicat International du Décolletage (S.I.D.) allows us to liaise with other similar (international) associations and jointly analyse what direction the market is moving towards and draw up common strategies. Moreover, the S.I.D. Congress is organised every two years to showcase the technology existing in other countries and open up new markets.
Networking
The Association’s activities are a key meeting point for meeting new partners and promoting new business opportunities, as well as collaborative projects. The most important event is DecoMeeting, a forum held every two years to promote the sector’s vitality and provide access to a major network of contacts.
Visibility and representation
Being an ADECAT member provides direct access to the administration and stakeholders, thus highlighting the sector’s representativeness.
Our activity has an impact on media which focus on our industry. Moreover, we have built a powerful brand that helps to position the association’s companies.
Sector information
Through the S.I.D. we prepare a benchmarking study of the sector overall.
Assessment
We act as a consultative body about our specific market sector or, more generally, about company competitiveness. ADECAT refers these queries to specialised professionals within its network of associates and collaborators.
Laboratory
ADECAT’s calibration metrology laboratory is prepared to calibrate and test a broad range of tools and instruments used in precision turning workshops.
